What is Nutrition?
Everyday, depending on our nutritional needs, we eat rice, pulse, fish, meat, egg, green vegetables, etc. our body cannot absorb the nutrients in these foods directly. these complex substances are digested through our digestive system into simple substances that our body can absorb. the cells in our body absorb these simple substances. these absorbed food substances help our body grow, repair the loss, produce the energy and increase our ability to resist diseases. this entire process is known as Nutrition.
